No....absolutely no difference at all. Jose Parsons would be undefeated right now but he had to take an injury default because he needed stiches.Even though he lost that match he was still in the finals because of pool record.He never stepped on the mat for his finals match (Because he was at the hospital)but technicaly he lost that match because of forfeit. His record shows 2 losses but since he never stepped on the mat in the finals he should only have 1 loss?? I know different coaches handle this differently. I'm not 100% sure, but I think technically when you step on the scale for a tournament, any match you are not able to go, you receive a forfeit. I seem to remember some controversy years ago when Chris Phillips was forced to forfeit at Iron Man after being injured.
