I really do think this impacts him alot, - 1 month of mat time your senoir season and hes alot easier to beat

Another rumor that i can say is true is Riley from Mt. Vernon is dropping to 106. Not sure when this drop will take place, but thats where he'll be at for Darby

Eflein's backup is pretty solid and I heard he was dropping to 220 soon........he will be a contender for sure!!

No way he makes 220...but floating rumor is that King of Scioto is dropping to 195 and the freshman backup will take the 220 spot and can be a good contender...he lost to Elflein at pick tourney by 4

Sid, Cruiser has a real job too. I'm not saying it is any easier but at leasy he has the "OOs" to take on another tuff one. Some coaches do not post

their team results so what does he have to go on??? (By the way, that drives me crazy!).

Cruiser, I for one apperciate your time effort and heart you put into wrestling.... Now back to the rankings, "Why isn't Aktuso in the rankings"? JK cruiser, keep up the great work you are doing.:D

Huge news there. Heard he was dropping but wasnt sure about King.
The Frosh Sawickey will be a contender at 220 and King will be a force at 195.

Didnt he go 119 last yr? Wow!

106 just got cranked up a few notches.
Riley might be the favorite now at 106.
I think he could be too strong for Guitierez.

No gutierrez has been and always will be a 103/106, riley was at 119 last year because he couldnt start over pauley, who graduated. If the weight class changes dont take place then riley stays at the weight hes at now because he can make 106, but he wouldnt be able to make 103.

Id think after dropping that massive amount of weight, yes riley will be quicker and stronger, but not the point its to overpowering to for payton. Being seven pounds lighter takes alot of his quickness and strength away. Riley will still be a hell of an athletic wrestler at 106 though. Should make for an awesome district final

What im intrigued about is to see how 113 plays out at darby. You have the front runner spearman, and more than likely second sparks. After that you have four very good seniors competing for the last 2 spots. Bloss (franklin heights), chang (reynoldsburg), davis (davidson), and mullucey (Coffman). Along with some other sharp wrestlers like Orr (Pick North) Valentine (Darby) Mcgrath (Bradley) Hogue (Pick Cent.) Dooley (Teays Valley) and Borton (Orange). Should make for an exciting 113 bracket at darby

I seem to remember Guiteirez beating Pauley at last year's central district all star meet.
... and that was scratch +5.
...of course that was over a year ago.

Point is Guitierrez beat Pauley. Pauley won wrestle off with Riley. So what's the expected result between Guitierez and Riley?

Was last year & exhibition & results verse common opponents doesn't always accurately predict results.

Interesting to see where the changes in weight and results are heading down the stretch with about only 3 good weeks left.
Bucksman should be updating in a week or 2 with the Lord Brakeman Report coming out in the next 2 weeks!

from what ive seen, Riley was better than pauley...seemed to be a thing where the senior got choice over an underclassmen..just putting it out there, maybe pauley didnt beat riley in a wrestle off, a number of things could have happened
