Who else is gonna shoot? Rip is streaky at best at this age, Noah is a rebounder, Gibson just hustles pretty much, Boozer hasnt been what he was in the past, Korver hasnt been on the court much, and Brewer is pretty much just a defender

They are all NBA players and can put the ball in the hole, as much as Rose gets in the lane he should be able to find open teammates. He has that eyes on the rim only mentality though.

Idk I think for them to win/score Rose pretty much has to be aggressive and taking shots with the way their team is built.

And he drops 8 dimes a game, not like hes a complete black hole

He should average more than 10 a game easily, he can get into the lane at will. 11-28 shooting from your PG? IDK

Rip Hamilton wide open in the corner, Rose charges(wasn't called) and then forced a tough shot

Shitty ending, but awesome game. Reminiscent of last years playoffs unfortunately.

Sounds an awful bit like the team I used to watch in Cleveland.

That's what I've been saying from the get-go. They are building that team exactly how Cleveland was built. Surround your superstar with a bunch of aging role players and no true offensive post presence.

I agree but unless you can get 2 superstars (Lakers, Heat, OKC) what other choice do you have but to surround your superstar with the best shooters/role players you can get?

Rose always seems like he's going to kill himself after every loss.

Its probably my favorite part about him. Always defers to the team and wants to get better win or loss.

Thibs system only works if the best players buy in and Rose has led the way.

11-29 is deferring to the team? He may defer to them off court but he sure as hell doesn't on the court.

Lakers get a much needed win. Beating Minny despite the Laker's awful bench once again giving no help. Kobe with 35 and 14. Gasol and Bynum had good games also. As bad as Arenas is he would be an upgrade on the bench.

I meant the former. In postgame etc. I know he chucked it up a bit but you would too if your crunch time lineup was Rose, Brewer, Hamilton, Gibson, Noah.

I get caring about losing and I respect that, but Rose takes it too hard IMO.

I think he does at times, but I'd rather it be that way then the other way around (LBJ in 08, 10, 11)

Arent you a huge fan of Deron Williams game? He has like the same shot attempts and assists as Rose

Deron Williams plays on one of the worst teams in the league that has little talent. The Bulls have 3 guys who have scored 20 ppg before in their career(Boozer, Deng, Hamilton). Not really a comparable situation if you ask me.
