You don't want Kobe fresh for the playoffs? Because that's the only chance they have of competing for a title is to play through Pau and Bynum more.

I hope so, he looked dead last year in the playoffs against the Mavs, i'd like to see the Lakers do some damage out west and when you have two great post players you need to utilize them. Just my opinion of course.

Oh and BTW....

If Brandon Roy wants to come back and he can be a free agent(NO IDEA on the rules on that..), he would look mighty good in purple and gold.

Probally because he was carrying Gasol's sorry butt in the Playoffs last year. You would be tired too. Also reminds me of my favorite line in "Airplane" from my favorite all time player:

Agreed that Pau didn't play well in the playoffs last year. Wasn't there a rumor that Kobe's wife (ex) broke up Pau and his wife and that's why he didn't play well? Oh and the Lakers would have never won those back to back titles without Pau, he's a great player.

I wish if we had a 3OT game tonight that Wade and LeBron were playing. And that it was good basketball. This is just TERRIBLE stuff.

As for Brandon Roy, unless Portland cuts him, they should own his rights till the contract is up right? Similar to Carson Palmer.

I have no idea. But I really don't see him coming back. Which sucks. Because he is(was) a stud.

Bynum comes up gimpy on his lay in with 3 secs left. Looked like an ankle. LA announcers are saying he said to Mike Brown "I'm fine."

Imagine how good Portland would be if they had a healthy Oden and Roy, maybe the best team in the west.
