Great atmosphere at the Q last night. Sessions and Jamison were stellar. I'm pretty sure Andy got on under every Clippers players skin by the end. Oh and Kenyon Martin is a thug.

Root for them to lose the players and coaches appreciate that mindset.

Is this a rhetorical question? This is one of the deepest drafts in recent memory any pick in the top 10 would likely help us get to the playoffs next year.

Agreed...I know its tempting to sneak into the playoffs but getting a top pick is better long term for the team than a first round playoff sweep in 2012.

Just take the sucking for another year maybe next year too. Then will come the fun part

It's hard to root against the team, but I want a top 5 draft pick. Looking at the mocks, any player in the top 5 would instantly turn this team into a contender(2-3 years from now of course).

Too bad all the mock drafts have the Cavs picking anywhere from 10-15. Might as well win now. I know it's a crazy thought.

Win now? We aren't good enough to win anything. The last thing I want is for the Cavs to be an average team, making the playoffs, getting shitty draft picks, and never making a true push for a championship.

Technically as long as the Cavs are in the lottery, where they pick is pretty much a matter of luck at that point.

Wow that's crazy you can see into the future and know where everyone is drafting. You are a dumbass and all you do is come on cavs threads and try to derail the conversation. So go back to your laker threads

It's not just that, it's that his arguments use flawed logic too.

The conversation was on draft picks. I never said anything about where everyone was drafting. Nice fail troll attempt though.

What is flawed about them more than likely not having a top 5 draft pick?

As long as they send Nick Gilbert to the lottery selection they should be fine.

too many atrocious teams in the nba for the cavs to get into the top 5 slot...have to hope maybe the 8th pick (kyrie) will bring us luck again.

Huh? 8th pick and 8th worst record aren't the same thing.

cavs won the lottery with the eighth best odds last season, so they'll have to hope for that same luck out of that drafting region again (8-12)

FWIW, Bill Simmons thinks Varejao not only should have been an All-Star, but a starter. [URL="http://As for that fifth spot: I love the way Varejao is playing this season … and if you enjoy guys who put up 11 points and 12 rebounds every night, grab every big rebound in traffic, take monster charges again and again and shut down opposing big guys, you should, too. Isn't the whole point of the All-Star Game to pick players who are playing as well as they can possibly play? I never watch Chris Bosh and say, "Whoa, Chris Bosh! He's something! He's really turned it on!" Why do I have to pick Bosh as a starter again? And also, why should THREE Miami Heat players be starting on the All-Star team? You don't find this a little kooky? Are they the '96 Bulls or something? Please. Besides, Varejao has been more of an impact player this year — he's the best at what he does, and that's saying something. You win with what he does."]http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/7562176/the-sports-guy-nba-all-star-team[/URL]
