The #1 and 2 seeds for the AFC will be interesting. I think next week all 3 of those teams get a win. It should be a great race these last 4 weeks though.

If the Steelers remain at No. 5 and play No. 4 Denver you'd have to like their chances in that game, though it would be fun.

However, if they win they would probably play at No. 1 New England.

I don't like that too much. Even though the Steelers beat the Patriots and lost twice to Baltimore, I think they'd have a better chance at Baltimore in round two...just a hunch. Houston vs. New England could go either way if the Texans are healthy.

according to the playoff machine it looks like Baltimore controls its own destiny for home-field advantage

even though New England is 9-3 and 7-2 and Baltimore 9-3 and 6-2, they'd be tied for conference record if both teams win out

Baltimore has a better winning percentage vs. common opponents because of 2-0 vs. Steelers and Patriots 0-1 vs. Steelers

Just something a little funny I messed around with if the Seahawks win out and finish with a 9-7 and the Lions, Bears, and Cowboys/Gaints finish at 9-7 then the Seahawks would get in the playoffs. Now I idk if they is just because of the other teams I have winning but would be crazy to see them get in although I doubt they finish 9-7.

You're probably right. Seattle has probably played their way back into contention, slightly, especially when you consider most of the other teams are heading in the wrong direction.

Yeah like I said first they have to win all their games and then the Bears, Lions, and Cowboys or Giants would have to go 9-7 and then all the other teams I picked to win/lose would have to happen for them to get in. Still amazing that they have a shot to make it.

For all that's gone wrong with the Bears and their injuries, they've remained in the same spot.

Green Bay should end the regular season 16-0. They have 3 of 4 games at home (Oakland at home, Chiefs on the road, Bears at home, and Lions at home).

I could see the Bears or Lions coming up with a stop...but I hope it doesn't happen that way. I would like to see the Lions and Bears both make the playoffs, that'd be great if 3 teams from the NFC North made it! But, I won't be disappointed if the Lions don't make it because I despise them -- and I have a couple of players that are Lions fans, and their choke from their start to missing the playoffs would be great!

I'm probably the only one besides Seahawks fans who want this but I think it would be hilarious if they got into the playoffs especially after everything last year.

Id bet the bears and lions fight it out for 1 of the 2 wild cards left. Maybe they both pass up Atlanta though if they keep playing like they did against the 3rd string texans qb without Andre Johnson smh

I think the Bears are done and won't finish better than 8-8. I think the Falcons get in because they pretty much could finish 9-7 and get it with all the tie breakers but I think they will finish at 10-6 and get the 5 seed. I think that last playoff spot is the most interesting. The way it stands now is if the Seahawks or Cardinals would get in if they won out and teams like the Lions, Giants, or Cowboys went 9-7 and honestly I could see that happening. Hopefully will be a great last 4 weeks but I won't be surprised if the Cardinals, Seahawks, and Giants lost this week and ruin all the fun.

Just paid for the Texans playoff tickets. 332 dollars for two tix to both possible games. As much as I would hate to, I might sell them. Houston is amped for playoff football. I could probably get 800 per game. I might sell the first game and attend the second if they somehow pull that off.

I'd go to the game especially if I was a Texans fan. It will be the first one in team history and would be pretty cool to say you were there.
