I think it likely that D1 sweeps 220 and HVT. All are SQ except Taylor and he isn't far off. I don't know if any of the others made it out of district. I don't know the 195s very well except the first match which should be close. Of course, the shorter rounds seem to make for closer matches at the heavy weights.

Upper weight (195,220,HWT) results as best I can recall:
at 195 Robinson (London) decision over Dick (Grove City), Briggs (Cardington) decision over Kemba
at 220 Stinemetz (Olentangy) 6-3 decision over Farrow (Whitehall), King (Dublin Scioto) 2-0 decision over Genders (Amanda Clearcreek), Taylor (Marysville) 6-? decision over Hogg (Big Walnut)
at HWT Elflein (Pickerington North) ties Gusan (not sure) 1-1, Young (Olentangy) ties Griffith (Big Walnut) 1-1, Fleming (Olentangy Liberty) ties Garren (Bishop Ready) 1-1
FYI....Joe Boswell (CW) pinned Dilley (AC) in the 2nd period after building a 10-2 lead. The coaches website had a mistake there.....probably didn't get written down correctly at the table.
Blacka sure took it to Woodring......SQ in Georgia?

Perfect example of why guys outside of the district shouldn't be put in this event. It is supposed to be a reward to guys from the previous season. That is why Freshmen aren't allowed.

I have to agree with underrated on this one.....It looks a couple fo kids who moved into area got in.....until the "new" kids get a chance to prove themselves against local comp they should not be nominated.....doesnt send much of message to kids who worked hard last year....

Did you watch the Blacka Woodring match, I wouldn't say he took it to Woodring. The first period was 0-0 second period ended 2-0. In the 3rd Blacka led 3-0 and Woodring tried for the big move to win the match and didn't get it. How's that taking it to him. Some people just love running there mouth and putting down kids. I do not understand this. Enough said.

7-0 in a 3 min match.....wonder how bad it would have been in 6 min? I'll stand by.....Blacka took it to him.

Thank you! I thought Legace won that bout by a good margin. I think some of the all star scores are still off in the upper middles. Licking Valley looks good especially their upper middles. Harble is a monster and watch out for Tommy Woogans at 170! Kids got some talent.
