I'm down 7.12 points with Sims-Walker playing tonight. Hoping that a banged up NYG secondary, along with no Stephen Jackson and no Amendola, will lead to some points from him. Guy I was playing picked up Decker and started him (for 21 points), and had his kicker (Folk) and defense (Detroit) combine for 35 points. That, coupled with that embarrassing Mike Williams -4 yard performance, has me on the ropes.

I have won big this week, but losing Jamaal Charles really hurts me down the road.

I had Romo, Miles Austin, Fitzgerald, Mike Wallace all go big for me. Kenny Britt on my bench had a huge one too...now I have to decide if I want to trade one of these WRs for a RB with Charles out.

Is there really a decision there?? I would try to move Britt while his stock is high, because you never know when he'll end up suspended or something.

I was winning my matchup by 80 pts when I went to bed last night. My opponent had Vick and the Falcons D, so I'm not sure what kind of points they got. Vick probably didn't do much w/ a INT and 2 fumbles lost. He has Bradshaw tonight, so I assume i'll win pretty comfortably. I got big days out of Stafford, Devery Henderson, McFadden, and Gronkowski. Mendenhall and Santonio were solid as well.

I made a bold move in my league but still lost. And now both my 1st and 2nd round picks are likely out for the year.

In the OC league Im leading by .43 points I have Tynes and he has Brown going tonight.

In two leagues. Won one very easily. Big days from Britt, McCoy, Keller.

My other league I need 35 points from James Laurinaitis tonight. Big loser there. Guy I played had Brady, Maclin, Sproles, Britt, Hillis and Witten all have big days.

Better week. Went 4-0 and my closest game was like a 35 point blowout.

I'm up 169 to 106. My opponent has Bradshaw tonite. I'd expect him to get 15-20 points.

There is one hesitation. In a normal scoring league I would already be talking to numerous teams.

In my leagues scoring and our lineup variability (if it is legal in real NFL, you can start that lineup here...aka I do not have to have a RB playing, or I can have 2 RBs, etc).

In my league WRs and TEs can and will score just as much as RBs, and since we have lineups that are basically QB, K, D, and then a total of 5 "flex" (0-2 RB, 0-5 WR, 0-2 TE) so the only real lineup in the NFL that is not valid is the "goal line" with 2 RBs and 3 TEs.

So, a top tier WR, of which I have 3 (maybe 4 depending on how Britt keeps going) would/should get a top tier RB in trade. It would not be a typical top tier WR for a 2nd tier or 3rd tier RB. That actually makes it harder to trade WR for RB in my opinion.

Makes sense. I've never been in a league like that. It would be a completely different strategy all together.

In my two money leagues I won one and lost one.

I won with the second highest of points this week and am now 2-0. In that league I also had two players get 0 points in Gates and Plax. In the other league I lost by two points despite having the second most points scored. I lost this one because Gates got zero.

Won thanks to huge games out of AP and Kenny Britt, plus TDs from Ray Rice & Santonio Holmes. Trying to get the high score for the week (a $20 bonus per week), I have Manningham who just botched a sure TD, and is now in the locker room injured ... doh!

Won 2 of my games by a combined 1.02 points, and scored over 110 in each league. Never seen anything like that before.

Won my game handily. Matty Ice, AP and Roll me another Blount treated me well. My dad scored 129.8 with the trifecta of Rodgers, Jennings and Finley only to lose to the guy whose team went bonkers and scored 169. Dude had Maclin and V.Jax go off along with Brees. I almost felt bad for the old guy.

Vastly different strategy, but so much more fun than a regular scoring league.

Just to show you what a huge difference it makes even at the draft.

This years draft...

Rd1-2 QBs, 3 RBs, 2 WRs, 3 TEs
Rd2-1 QB, 2 RBs, 4 WRs, 3 TEs

Plus, like I said the weekly lineup flexibility is more like the real NFL lineups, and COMPLETELY flexible which is very nice during bye weeks. Depending on who I get/pick up with Charles injury I might easily start 4 WRs and a TE and no RBs this week (my other RBs after Charles are F. Jones, D. Williams, M. Lynch).

If I get McCluster, who is listed as a WR, but since he runs the ball as well that would be big in our scoring system (QBs or WRs with rushing yards get bonus points over regular rushing points). I would still end up with no RB starting.

Well he got her 10 which was good enough to win. But that's what I get for not changing my lineup...
