I have the second pick in my fantasy draft tonight and I honestly have no idea who I should take. We have an 8 man head-to-head league with a snake draft. We play one QB and two running backs. With our scoring system the top QB's can garner as many points as the top running backs.

I'm going to assume that the guy with the first pick is going to take Peterson (if he doesn't then there's no question that I'm taking him). If he does take AP, I have no idea who to take next.

I could take Arian Foster, but I really have doubts that he can produce as many points this year as last year (I just don't see him scoring as many TD's because that is really a passing team).

I'm scared to take Chris Johnson because I don't even know if he'll be there for the first game and I don't know how he'll look with little to no practice time.

Mike Vick would be a good choice, but his line has looked awful and I can't trust him to be consistent playing behind that line.

I could take Jamaal Charles or Ray Rice, but I feel like each of them could be a reach with the second pick.

To me Aaron Rogers seems like the safe pick, because I know he'll score a ton of points and be consistent week to week.

So, if you were in my position, who would you take second is AP is off the board, and why?

I second Charles. He's the biggest home run threat in the league behind CJ, IMO. The formula for KC last year was to run the ball and let their defense control the game. Cassell is a decent QB but he was more of a game manager last season and I look for more of the same this season. Charles is also very slippery and avoids the big hits, so injuries aren't a huge concern with him like other RB's.

I would go ADP, Foster, Charles, Rice...in an 8 man league don't even think about taking a QB with the 2nd pick.

Start 1 QB in an 8 man league?? Heck, I think Id load up on RB and WR while the others fight for the QBs and you can settle with the 8th best (who is just as good as some others who will go 5-7). Dont take Rodgers.

Id go (assuming ADP is gone):
-Charles
-Foster
-Andre the Giant (then go RB with next 2 picks)

I didn't even see it was an 8 man league lol who gives a shit who your QB is. Diffrence in QBs 1-8 is like 50 points max for the whole season(Like 3 a week). I would draft all my RBs and WRs and maybe even try and get a top tier TE before even taking a QB.

krambman how did you draft end up going?
