I'm also fairly certain Gene Smith is done at OSU. Possibly also the compliance department responsible for the initial investigation.

Again -- already known. Nothing new here. Just a rehash of what we already knew.

I just don't see how any of this rises to LOIC. It's not even close to the amount of crap USC pulled. Then factor in USC not cooperating for something like three years.

If the NCAA hits OSU as hard as USC over this, they'll never have another university self reporting major violations again.

Lol. I'm interested to hear what other national personalities have to say about this article. Just looked at Twitter and a lot of people were making fun of that Dohrmann guy.

I still can't get over all of the hype surrounding this story. There wasn't much substance at all. Lots of narrative type stuff from Youngstown St and the early years. He used a lot of that stuff to paint Tress as a bad dude. From there, like others have said, there was a lot of repeated information. Common Man and the Torg said that they heard this was going to be full of new allegations from their source.

The article wasn't terrible.

Brought to light 9 new (current) players who might be getting suspended as well. Some of them will really hurt (Simon?).
The car issue still isn't over. Pryor showing up to the meeting today in a 350Z with temp tags? Fucking brilliant.
Tressel making traffic tickets disappear. It happened a long time ago, but definitely hurts his image even more.

That's my feeling as well. There was some new information, just nothing that justified the amount of hype it got.
