The daughter of a very good friend was just diagnosed with lymph node and throat cancer she is only 11 years old. I have watched this girl grow up with my niece and she is a strong and hopeful girl. Every prayer will be appreciated cause its not looking good. They cant do surgery and are wanting to send her to St. Judes for treatments. Thanks for all the prayers in advanced.

So sad to hear things like this. Scares me, esp when I have two kids 7 & 9.

As a dad of 4 I can't even imagine what this young girl and her parents are going through. My thoughts and prayers go out.

Its a sad situation friday they go in to the er cause she was complaining about a sore throat. They sent them home with some antibiotics. Yesterday she had a mass the size of a golf ball on the side of her neck and they took her to childrens in columbus where they found out it was cancer. Its been a rough few days needless to say. The mass on her neck has grown enormously in the last 24 hours its the size of a softball on the side of her neck. It was horrible seeing her like that its so sickening to think about it. Im pretty sad for the whole situation.
