This surprises me. I am not going to pretend to know why this is open, nor do I want to know; but I will say, Nice job Coach Chism on the last two years at the helm. You guys may not have finished where you wanted this year, but you had a talented team. I hope Chism stays in touch with wrestling.

As a former Kilbourne wrestler under Coach Cooke, DiSabato, and Chism, I really liked the direction of the program was in under Chism's control. I hate to see my school in a helpless situation. The program really hasn't been the same since Coach Bucky left and the fact is that we've had 4 different coaches in the past 7 years. Kilbourne has the potential to be a force in wrestling and it should start with the youth wrestling program. To those wrestlers at Kilbourne who are reading this, especially you seniors, DO NOT let this control your off season workouts and your motivation to work hard this spring summer and fall. Even while you're coachless, you should be looking at the seniors for leadership and finding as many open mats to go to. I hope we get some stability with the new coach, who ever it may be, and thanks Coach Chism for your hard work these past two years, it has not gone unnoticed.

I was looking for the thread that listed all openings but can't find it.

I just read Upper Arlington is on the hunt for a new coach. Dublin Scioto might still be looking. Who were the others? (or point me to the other thread.)

Scioto was just filled early last week. I'll let that person let it be known who got it b/c I don't want to make someone's name public who didn't want it to be yet. As for Kilbourne I was told by a coach who has an interview scheduled that they are starting today or have recently started interviewing candidates.

Awesome, wraith. Thanks for the info. I also appreciate you not putting the Scioto name out there. I personally believe that, although I may have the info, it is theirs to introduce and announce. I look forward to any and all other announcements.
