Headlock...I'm looking forward to coming in. That room has been solid for a couple of years now.

Cruiser...I thought the room was awesome last night. The 160-175 pound group certainly got a workout. We had six or seven guys going at it the whole time. The upper weight group above us look solid as well. Very good, intense goes. I'll see you next week.

Bitter, Cruiser,

Just a thanks from a dad.....my son said the coaches were in the middle of it all night and the comp at 160/175 was super.....

Very nice room tonight at Ready. I'd say there were 35 wrestlers there...maybe half a dozen State placers. We had two groups of three between 155-175 going at it and I know everyone in those groups got a great workout We'll see you next week Headlock.

Anyone in the weight range of 171-285 ill be going to ready, groveport, and crossing throughout the week if anyone is looking for an upper weight group.

Westie...There was a group of three former State placers (and one qualifier), all between 175 and 195 at Ready last night. Groveport has had a solid group of upper weights as well. Besides, Coach Niemann is always willing to roll. Hopefully I'll see you Tuesday.

Wildcats...I think Crossing goes on Thursdays, but I'm not sure.

We won't be at Ready this week since we'll be just back from NHSCA Open Nationals in Harrisburg, but definitely next week. Sounds great having two groups of 155-175 going at it!

Sorry Westie....I go straight from work to The Port on Tuesday nights. You may want to see if Scott Nicola can give you a ride up. He's been there the last couple of week and with the Autism Tourny next week, I'm sure he'll be back this Tuesday.

Mother's Day, a time to show your mother how much you appreciate her. Breakfast in bed, flowers, maybe a brunch with the family. Make sure to take some time today and let the woman who carried you for nine months and has been there for you all these years how special she is and how valuable the job she does is...Then, at 5:30, get in the car and make your way over to Bishop Ready High School for a great open mat. Mom wants you to get better.

Groveport Open Mats = AWESOME!!!!!!!! Tonight was absolutely fantastic. 30+ (but no more than 40) wrestlers just absolutely getting after it! AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Here is what I love about the open mats we run (and I'm sure it happens everywhere else)... We have all three levels; a little better than beginners, very good wrestlers, and well-advanced wrestlers. All three groups were represented well tonight and EVERYBODY got work.

Like swimming in raw sewage... I love it!
