Yes. Go all the way around to the northwest corner. That is their wrestling room.

My son went to Whitehall open mats this evening......they had a strong start with good comp...states coaches were great.....

Will be back next week...hopefully bringing more Wildcats....

Thanks for the info Bitter...

Next up is Hilliard OCC mats on Weds....

Wildcat...I'm pretty sure I was your son's drill partner last night. He's a strong kid with some good stuff. We had a nice little four-man group going for the live goes. I look forward to seeing him again next week. BTW, sometimes it's hard to walk in a room solo when you don't know anyone and you've never been there before. He was respectful and a good sport, definately a positive addition to the room.

Bitter...My son said he had some great one on one with the coaches last night.....he will be back next week.....he mentioned wresting on the spring team.....he was beyond excited....I think the first thing he did was text his coach....he was 33/12 last year at 171 pounds last year....the only thing on his mind is state for his senior year....

Cruiser Wildcats are trying to be there on Tuesday....my son has a trainer that lifts with him Mon-Tues-Thurs so if we dont see you Tuesday I know two or three Wildcats will be there Friday.....171/185 (depending on his eating habit this week LOL)....and a 215 for sure...

Plus Newark is trying to put a small group of kids together for Weds mats in Hillaird....

Awesome. We get a good group from Lancaster, Logan, Teays Valley, Canal Winchester... We usually have a few other schools represented but for some reason I'm drawing a blank right now... Oh, Hartley, Bradley, Licking Heights... Bexley... I'm running thin, but I'm SURE there are others.

All that to say, adding Newark would be great! Hopefully things "work out". ...see what I did there? "WORK OUT"!? Trainer... lifting... getting to open mats!? Ahhhh, forget it.

I'm pretty sure it's Columbus. Our high school is in Groveport, however, this particular Middle School is in the north end of the district (hence Middle School North), which includes a large portion of Columbus.

Let me know if you still need help.

Factoid: My mom once lived on one side of a street that fed Columbus, the other side Whitehall. I guess the line DOES have to be somewhere.

Cruiser...What time will you be getting there (or anyone)? I get off work at 4:00 and I don't want to head home and then turn around and drive out to the east side. So I'm just going to come up straight from work. Will you guys be there by 4:30, or should I kill some time before I leave?

Oh, and by the way, KILLER open mat tonight. KILLER!!!!!!!!!

Gotta think we had 25 to 30 kids there tonight. Ranging from second string JV to state placers. All levels, all weights, great groups for sure. A few coaches on the mat as well.

Come out next week. 5pm, enter through the back!!!

Cruiser....my son son said the Groveport mats were great....about 30 kids.....he had about 5 kids that were close to his weight so well worth the trip....looks like Groveport will be a regular on Tuesday...
