Broken cartilage that then allows fluid to build up in the ear is the cause. As for getting rid of it, if it's fresh it can be drained and "brace" stitched on the ear to anchor it down until the skin regrows to the cartilage. If it's not fresh, you're looking a cosmetic surgery. Best way to "get rid of it" is to wear headgear and not get it in the first place.BTW, what causes Cauliflower ear? It probably is, but for some reason I've yet to meet a wrestler that didn't think it was some kind of "red badge of courage." By the way, Daisy, I'm a women, too.Daisy1519;674390 wrote:OMG, that just sounds painful. All of it!

Something like that! LOL! I prefer to say.... I have an opinion just like everyone else...... I'm good at biting my tongue, most times, and keeping my opinions to myself...... other times, not so much! ;o)

Yes, I was friends with a lot of wrestlers in college..... they were a crazy fun bunch of guys. But yes, the cauliflower ear was prevalent, and the more women were grossed out by it, the more they enjoyed showing it off! The only wrestling move I know is the scissor, not a fan.
