Alex lost to Hall by two. Was hoping two Graham guys would have been on the short list to have beaten MH.

Saw that. 5-3 final... Not bad. My guess is if they meet again, it will be another hard-fought battle. Perhaps with a different outcome.

Random thoughts for the new season...please discuss.
1. I have now coached for 16 years, and I don't feel that old.
2. I kinda miss old school seeding meetings.
3. Only 2 wrestlers on our current team could pick john smith out of a lineup. I will bet zero could identify Dave Schultz.
4. If mat mopping technology has improved so much why are there so many more diseases?

#2 - I Kinda miss the Graham invite being the two day event it was 20ish years ago. Even cooler back then when all the Graham wrestlers lived within a few miles of each other........cough cough.
#3 - sad...
#4- I think marketing technology has improved.....that's it.

#3) I'm at the junior high level. But I don't fault them for there lack of knowledge. When I was at the high school level, very few could have picked out Lance Palmer, Colt Sponseller, or even Logan Stieber.

We are not talking about good wrestlers at the same level, I am sure all high school football players know Barry sanders, all basketball players know magic Johnson, and all baseball players know Nolan Ryan , that was my only point. But no, I don't fault them for they're lack of knowledge either!

Aaaaaah, yes. You are shedding light on the lack of promotion our sport gets. Perhaps with FloWrestling and GOhiocasts.com , we (you and I yes, but moreover, the wrestling community at large) can change that!
