Nope. Chapman predicted it would occur by time zone.

I thought it was funny how the Son of Man wasn't told but Chapman was. Does that make him a certifiable loon!?

There WAS an earthquake yesterday in the predicted area...but there are a reported 14,000+ earthquakes in that area every year. According to the prediction, the world won't actually end until October 21st. Maybe we are the ones all left behind to suffer.

What sucks is, if they are right...that means no wrestling season next year!

Man, the wait will be awful.

Ksig- I'm a 110 percent positive that there's a wrestling season in heaven- not so sure about hell. Plus you never get tired so matches last for hours like the olden days of the UFC.
Cruiser- I have heard some excellent theological arguments that post-ascension and death the Son of Man would know the date. However, I don't consider them doctrinally relevant to salvation so I've only read them to say, "Oh that's interesting." But to quote a friend of mine, "I'm pretty sure only one man knows the date, and from what I hear, he's not telling."
I read part of Chapman's theories on why yesterday was the day which were all quantified through mathematical models. Some of them were not so high tech, but some were extensive models. As far as his theological basis for using the ones that he did, I would think he would have used times frames set forth in Revelations as opposed to a collection of scriptures from various locations in the Bible. The Revelations time frame is much more literal for the creation of equations to estimate time derivatives.

... E=m(c • c)???

I thought Christ was quite clear. Why the need to make such an assertion. Not really my problem. I think the main concern is for those who ascribe to I Thess. 4, Revelations and the like... And how people like this make them look. Please... Don't lump us all together! :D

WHOAAA! I wasn't lumping anyone in with Camping (whom I earlier called Chapman.) Sorry if it sounded that way.
KSig- I just spewed diet soda all over my husband's flat screen monitor because of your post. I'll probably get banned from his office now. So just to get you back for causing this dilemma I have prepared this video for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYuj_J4DTfU

Dave Mathews likes to t, t, t, talk about the weather. Little BABY!!!

Berry Burst Ice Cream Oreos- Get some!
Fruit Ninja iphone app- Do not get unless you wish to waste mind boggling amounts of time slicing fruit

Writers of the European show Mr. Bean- Genuises who were not included in the all time list of top ten genuises

Watching tv in bed all morning playing fruit ninja and eating oreos- underrated!

Still LOVE Mr. Bean! My love for Mr. Bean has been rekindled because Netflix added almost all of the series to their blue ray list.

Thanks!! And it's not really late because I opted to extend Memorial Day through tomorrow evening. (Yes, I have that kind of power! :) ) I've hiked 24 miles through a canyon in the last three days and plan to finish with another 7 tomorrow. I realize though that once upon a decade ago my husband and I could have done 30 in two days but that was pre-kids and German Shepards. Plus we were younger. Getting older sucks.
