The kid that got pinned in 3 sec. was a freshman wrestling his 3rd varsity match. It is only his second year of wrestling and he was wrestling a man! Truth be known, in his next match I think he was pinned in 6 sec ;). He is also wrestling up a couple weight classes because of the upperclassman at the lower weights! Give the kid a break, at least he was on the mat!

Amen! Rassler has entered my top 10 posters with one post. Well done, rassler.

I pesonally don't think any digs were being taken at the kid on a personal level, just more about the situation. I know it is the first time I have ever heard of that quick of a pin. But you can bet that someone is showing that man the big picture. Stick it out and commit to get better. Good luck.

Thanks Rassler! I had not heard that one, and it maybe the best quote from a man with many, many great quotes! And Cruiser I know nobody was taking digs at the kid! I just wanted everyone to understand how young this brave boy is! His poor parents took enough crap from the people in the stands they don't need to read it here and re-live the whole thing! And by the way can you check and see if 9 seconds is a new state record for a two consecutive match total?

We should be OK! We are wrestling in Toledo and they don't panic when a little snow hits the ground!:rolleyes:

Sid you must be from a real school, the "burg"'s administration have their heads so far up their behinds they probably don't even know it is snowing! We have had zero snow days this year! It cost to much to cancel! LOL!

I was watching the :03 pin and Jeff came off the mat shaking his head and asking onlookers if they saw. It was pretty sweet but I did not think it was possible to fall down that fast let alone pin someone that fast.

Flemming of Olentangy Liberty (285) dropped out for Cousins (WN). 1st at Liberty, 2nd at Brecksville, and 3rd at Ellgin. He beat Mcnabb (WC) who just beat Cousins last night. Should he move back into 3rd next week ?
