The season is halfway over, it is hard to get results on the PAC Teams, hopefully this thread will generate some discussion and results.


This week, CVCA will wrestle in a double dual at Field HS ON 1/12/11. Wrestling will begin at 5:30 PM, CVCA will wrestle Painsville Riverside in the opener.

A highly anticipated 2nd match is likely between Mantua Crestwood (4th at D2 Duals), and CVCA (ranked 3rd in D3) combined, both teams have 12 State Qualifiers/Placers.

Friday Jan14th and Saturday, Jan 15th, CVCA will be looking for another top 5 finish at the Top Gun Tourney, Featuring Number 1 Ranked, St. Paris Graham, Massillon Perry, Mayfield, Claymont, and Medina as the top teams in the 40 Team field.

Is Manchester in the Dies?

This year the PAC Tourney will be at Tuslaw HS on Saturday, February 12th.

My thoughts on teams:

CVCA should win the PAC, Manchester has the upperhand for 2nd, with Tuslaw and Indian Valley rounding out the top half of the conference.

Not sure on how the 5-8 will finish ?

Manchester appears to be putting together a nice season.

Manchester, Tuslaw, & Triway were at the Dies last year - I assume all are back this year.

Triway hosts Wooster & Dover tonight (if the weather cooperates)

Triway is hosting Dover? Nice pick up on the schedule for Coach Hartzler. Glad to see he is getting his kids some tough matches in duals.

West Virginia Duals this weekend, Parkersburg South HS, there will be 3 Pools of 7 teams, and then the top teams from each pool (3) will wrestle for PLACEMENT. 8 matches in all.

Pool B: CVCA OH, LaSalle OH, Caldwell WV, Parkersburg South WV (B) , Roane County WV, Lewis County WV & Brooke County WV
