I'll say a little of both. You're good, but maybe lucky that Spearman was over weight?

No doubt about Longwell. Best I have ever seen him wrestle. Very aggressive and physical and at a high energy/intensity level. Looked competely different than the last 3 or 4 times I saw him wrestle.

Haha you might be right.
I think the Butler kid was too.
103 went from possibly the toughest weight to one of the easiest.

Sorry bout that, I thought it was by 8 my bad.
I remember seeing him in that cradle twice. Hes got a great cradle and he is a tough kid. I guess I assumed it was a major. I didnt have updated brackets.
I edited it.

Maybe Devil will now edit his post and replace "caught" with "slapped a series of powerful cradles on...". Caught makes it sound like it was an accident. And for the record it was 3 different times. Davis now has wins over Smoot 8-2 and Haslam 5-0 which were your Dispatch 1st and 2nd ranked wrestlers at 125 last week. Makes Longwell's performance that much more impressive.

Cameron Longwell is a stud, He will be your District Champ if he stays @ 125 (pending on who comes from the Centerville Sectional or wherever it is now), He is Certainly the best 125 in D1 Central Ohio. If he decides to move down to 119, well he runs into a brick wall

True but keep in mind that was Longwell's first action of the yr.
He looked pretty gassed in the 3rd.

Mann, I hate to make excuses for the young man, but the seeds for that tournament that came out that Thursday, did not have them in there, Which means he probably didn't know he was going to wrestle til either Friday, or that morning, and he had been having an issue with Skin, i would like to see that match-up with Cameron fresh, my guess would be Mr. Longwell by 6 or 7 points.

Yes....Slapped a series of powerful cradles on smoot. There ya go. The Davis kid is tough, he has some super long ape arms! lol! I would have loved to have seen the Longwell ...Smoot rematch. All well, guess we wait until Darby possibly. Longwell should stay at 125, why would you go to 119, Its tougher in the district and the state. But hey if ya want the challenge then go for it.

The District is an easier path to State at 25 if thats his goal.
Cameron has already been there. Maybe he has set his goals a little higher than just getting there and is looking to place.
Im not certain that it would be easier to place at 25 than 19. Would he be better off being a big 19 or a small 25 at State? People have doubted him for a while now by being overlooked. I think that just fuels his fire.

Longwell is a very good wrestler. I dont think any one doubts his ability or over looks him. I personally think 119 is one of the toughest weight classes in the state. I think he would be better off at 125, but ive never seen hi9m wrestle DiSabato yet and that might be a awesome match. Cameron has gotten alot better since last year.

Miamisburg won the MS tourny,They have a Marinelli kid who was the most impressive kid in the tourn(IMO) at 134..

Some TV ms results,TVwest was 5th and TVeast was 6th

West had Chapman 80 lb champ,Lathem 104 lb champ,Oller 160lb 2nd

East had Dooley 98(?) lb champ,Carroll 110 lb champ,Watkins 142lb 2nd

They both had several other 3-6 place kids..

6 finalists between the two is not too bad..

Yea the kid is decent...I think he's won 5 OAC State titles. He's built like a brick $hit house!
Heard he's a true 7th grader too. VERY impressive!

Hilliard Heritage took 4th with Donatelli and Valenti as their champs(note: the Valenti's had dual HS and MS champs!). 2 kids didnt make weight one which prolly would have taken 1st. You got to be there to win!
Hilliard Memorial took 2nd, they have some real good kids both on and off the mat.
Another well run tourney by the fine folks of Hilliards West! Just get the brackets updated more than just one rd though.
