Nate Brubaker(Toledo Start) vs Nick McCall(Wauseon) will most likely meet this first weekend of competition at the Jim Derr Northwood Invitational. Who will win? Brubaker is ranked #2 in D1 @171 by Bucksman in the preseason rankings and McCall is ranked #6 in D2. McCall is ranked nationally as a junior, placed 8th in D2 last season and finished 2nd in the Borderwars Nationals and is much improved over last year. Brubaker has won the Waite tournament the last 2 years and McCall was unable to place there last year but, Nate was 2 and out at the state tournament last season.

Wauseon brings a good team and there are some other good indviduals. I'm sure whoever meets up in the finals will be good but no other marquee matchups. Wauseon wins this one.

I watched Brubaker at Fargo this summer and based on that I saying Brubaker by at least a major. For 171 pounder he is something on his feet!!!

Where is Clay's A team wrestling this weekend?

McCall could win but, he'll need his "A" game. and if Nick wins, it won't be easy, trust me.
