The Wr leaned into it with his head going for the catch. I dont think Jones lead with his helmet, and his shoulder wuold of hit first had the Wr not leaned

I think it was the right call. I don't think the hit was malicious, but it looked like pretty clear helmet to helmet to me.

That was most definitely a personal foul... no question.

It was helmet to helmet. You can't use your helmet as a weapon. Now I know you're not thinking about that sort of thing when you're trying to make a play, but it looked to me like he knew he was going for the knockout blow

Me, as an LSU fan thought it was clean until I saw the replays. Helmet to helmet.

I thought it was clean until I saw the replay. It was a helmet to helmet, although I don't think Jones meant it maliciously.

If his head never hit him why did he stay down in a daze? Most people don't crawl around on the ground because they hit the shoulder. I doubt he was looking to hurt anyone but it was helmet to helmet.

Definitely a personal foul, but I don't think there was any intent to hurt him.

My favorite part of the video is the fat kid in the yellow shirt that yells 'F you' while the camera is panning the crowd. Settle down tubby, the hit didn't cause the world's Twinkie supply to dwindle.

I'd have to say it was a personal foul.
