I think ND fans feel that firing Weis and hiring some stud coach is going to turn this program around, I'm not buying it. This team just can't get it done. They haven't won a real bowl game in 30 years and when you can't even get past Navy anymore you're done. What I don't understand is, why do ND fans continue to pimp their team when they are this bad?

I compare ND to the Cleveland Browns, terrible, just terrible, but at least Browns fans know it and admit it. ND fans will come out after each game and say "oh we're going to win this one, "look at these top recruiting classes, etc.." Admit it, your team is terrible, and once you come to that realization I think most ND "haters" will get off your back.

I can't wait for next year, all these ND fans prediction National Championships and Heismans only to lose to Navy and get smoked in their 3rd tier bowl game.

No, a lot of it is just poor coaching. It's so evident the talent is there, it just isn't used in the right places/times necessary to be successful

Well, I'm not saying ND is terrible, but in OSU's 30 year drought they won some conference championships and some big bowl games.

ND, well, they won the Hawaii Bowl. Even the biggest gold domer homer has to admit that their post-season performances have left a lot to be desired.

I'm sure no Golden Domer is going to deny that.

There obviously needs to be a culture change in South Bend, and Stoops will bring that. It seems as if all Weis spewed about was this is unnacceptable and there will be accountability for not performing.... when did he ever make somebody accountable?
