Great reaction by the bench. Didn't watch the ball at all. Knew it was gone by the sound of the bat.

In the middle of the 5th inning of each game tonight, with the score being 4-0 at the time in each game, one with the home team leading and one with the home team trailing, which away team would you have given the best odds of getting back home with the series tied 1-1? It had to have been at least 10 to 1 in favor of the Reds! But strange things happen! Congrats to the Braves and Bobby Cox, many times the manager that Dusty Baker is!

If it weren't a broken bat it would've been a walk off.

Ok I was just making sure I wasn't crazy. I thought it sounded good, left the bat and the camera view at a good trajectory, and the crowd behind the plate jumped up. Not a good combo for my ticker.

MLB Network just showed a clip of the last time Rick Ankiel made an appearance in the post season. It was when he threw 4 straight pitches to the backstop as a pitcher with the Cardinals in 2000. How good must he feel right now after all he went through?

Bobby said Wagner is likely out for at least the remainder of the series with an oblique injury. Another bad break for the Braves. Luckily for them they have a couple of guys in Venters and Kimbrel that have good enough stuff to close out games if necessary.

Where did you see those pitching matchups? Cox said last night Lowe will get the ball game 4. That would likely put Hanson back on the mound for game 5 if necessary. Also, I'd be shocked if Bumgarder went game 4. I don't know how Lincecum is on short rest, but I would assume he would get the ball.

Giants had the chance to win it but did not execute with the bases loaded. Got the ball in play but not where they needed too. Did make for a great ending with the shot to the Cove.

alright, here we go! Over 50,000 people doing the Tomahawk Chop looks pretty good to me.
Billy Wagner has been replaced on the roster by Takashi Saito. Wagner won't be eligible to pitch again unless Atlanta makes it to the World Series.

Hudson works around a hit, an error by Conrad on a double play ball:mad:, and two walks. Hopefully that will settle him down for the rest of the game.

Success! Conrad makes a routine play. He now has a .333 fielding percentage today.
