I am in a bad QB situation, Palmer is my starter who has sucked and my backup is a hurt Stafford. Smith is my #2 WR but next week Holmes is off suspension and I believe that the rest of the season he will do better than Smith.

Our scoring is 1/2 PPR but bonus points for long TDs (add 2 for every 10 yards, so a 25 yard recTD is worth 10 instead of 6, and a 25 yard passTD is worth 7 instead of 3).

I could also do it for Palmer/Holmes instead of Smith, but what do you think?

Should I go after Cutler?

On one hand palmer has looked terrible. i mean it almost looks like he might be out of the league soon he has looked so dreadful. on the other hand he is playing the browns this week so you might be able to wait a week and see.

that being said i would probably do it because i think cutler is going to have better numbers this year than palmer. although he didnt play great the other night, i think it is a good move and giving up smith doesnt really hurt you.

I did it, but instead of getting Evans, I went after Breaston. Yes I know Breaston is out for a couple weeks, but when he comes back I like him much better than Evans.

Breaston is the #2 it seems in Arizona so that isnt terrible. As bad as DA is, that offense will be much better than Buffalo. Evans is the #1, but Parrish could be in for a bigger year than expected and cut into Evans production.

Thus, probably a pretty good trade.

Yea, at this point, it doesn't look like Palmer is ever going to fully recover mentally from the knee injury. I take Cutler any day over Palmer.
