I'll never get why this is such a big deal. Toledo is a stone's throw from Ann Arbor, in the NFL it's considered Detroit's secondary market as well as Cleveland's. Those people grow up hearing as much, if not more about UM goings on than OSU. Just because there's a state line between there doesn't mean anything to me. UM is RIGHT FUCKING THERE, so I get people going with what they grew up hearing about based simply on the proximity.
I live basically equidistant from Cleveland and Pittsburgh. I grew up rooting for Cleveland, but I don't feel obligated simply because I'm 15 miles on the Ohio side of the OH/PA border.
