Oops, thought I'd clicked on Bengals-Ravens thread *facepalm*!
Steelers impressive though they're Rigglesburgerless. Vince Young isn't the answer in Tenn to make them SB legit imo.

Thought Vince Young was going to cry on the sidelines. What a great win for the Steelers.

I don't think it was really Youngsd fault. I mean, Collins had several turnovers too. It was just a great game by the Steelers defense.

Got to love how the defense is playing, and you got to love only 2 more weeks without Big Ben

Wow. I think Tomlin was just hoping our guys could make it to the bus.
Great win but a physical game with a rash of injuries. I've never seen so many for being Week 2. Especially that offensive line they had in at the end.
Defense was extraordinary, forcing turnovers, making big hits.
Polamalu all over the place, again. Timmons hustling all day. Harrison smashing people.
How about that sack on Vince Young with Harrison, Smith and Keisel picking Young up and slamming him on his head?

Also, the Steelers whipped Chris Johnson's ass today.
A lot of big hits and he was hobbling back to the huddle in the second half.

Unbelievable effort by the defense. To be 2-0 right now is awesome. The QBs are doing what they should be doing (dont lose the game ). So much for the great Chris Johnson.

Simply put, the defense was outstanding today. What a difference a healthy Polamalu and Smith make. James Harrison played with hate in his heart. Love it. That one sack that a few Steelers had on Young looked like a wrestling finisher. They're playing with house money now. 2-2 looked like a best case scenario prior to the start of the season. Now, I think the Steelers beat a better than expected Buccaneer team in Tampa and then almost certainly lose to Baltimore. 3-1 without Ben......I'll take it. Even if they lose the next two.....they're okay.
Sepulveda did a helluva job today and I love how Hoke fills in for Big Snack and they don't miss a beat.

No Steelers fan can complain right now. We were hoping for 2-2 after the first four games. That's a worse-case scenario right now. Defense has been unbelievable. Johnson's streak of 100+ yard games didn't get ended...it got demolished. For once, a kick/punt TD return was IN THEIR FAVOR!!!! And they're currently first in the division with two wins against playoff-caliber teams. Who, as mentioned above, combined to score 79 against non-Steeler opponents, but only 20 against them.
On cloud 9 right now...hoping to maintain that for a few more weeks...like through the Super Bowl.

I still think Ike Taylor sucks. Other than that, the defense is playing like a Super Bowl defense.

Taylor is solid but I wouldn't put him in the class of a Rod Woodson or Mel Blount. Not even close.
I think Solomon Wilcots said something like that during the game and those of us watching the game were like "are you kidding me?"
That's the one missing piece to this Steelers defense. They don't have that great cornerback, a true No. 1.
McFadden and Taylor are both good, solid starters but not elite like those other two. Crezdon Butler looks like he could be an intriguing player. Good size and speed and he had a nice interception during the preseason.
