In a huge league (16 teams, 24-man rosters, and we keep 16 guys heading into the draft), and I am looking for some deep, deep, deep sleepers this season. Who are your picks and why?

Again, guys like Beanie Wells wouldn't qualify ... I am talking about #4 WRs or #3 RBs who people barely know about who may come out of nowhere this season (example: Devin Aromashodu last year) ...

How is your league even fun? 24 man rosters? 16 teams? Fuck that

It's very challenging ... it makes free agency less important (because pickings are slim), but inspires a lot more trades.

Been in the league 10 years, it's a blast.

Agreed! This kid is having an awesome camp, and will likely start the season as the #3 in Seattle. Carroll loves him too, I could see him having a very productive year.

I picked up Dexter McCluster in one league.

The Chiefs have a couple other backs in Charles and Jones but McCluster can get the ball a lot of different ways and produce some all-purpose yardage. I think that offense will make a comeback this year with Weiss as OC.

Also, Isaac Redman.

The Steelers may use a "pony" backfield at times where they have two running backs in the game and no true fullback.

Redman should play a lot in that role and in short yardage/goal-line and you never know if Mendenhall will hold up anyway.

A few others:

Early Doucet...he started to come on at the end of last season and in the playoffs for Arizona, but he's been slowed by some injuries in the preseason...if they get the QB situation settled he could be a factor in the middle of the season...they do have Fitzgerald and Breaston but Doucet is more of an Anquan Boldin type, strong middle of the field option

Aaron Hernandez/Rob Gronkowski...Brady already loves these guys and they're both good pass receivers at TE. Hard to say, though, which one will produce more at this point.

Chaz Schilens...This guy is kind of a freak. 6'4 and 225 and pretty good speed and quickness...he was coming on at the end of last season but nobody really noticed because nobody pays attention to the Raiders

Jacoby Jones/Kevin Walter...It just seems like the No. 2 WR for the Texans is going to have a career year. That's going to be a good fantasy offense.

I have high hopes for both Mike Williams'

Seattle and Buccaneers. MW for Seattle will have a much better team/offense, but more competition and some talented rookies looking to move up. But he is back with Petey Carrol and is the #1 to start the year.

MW for the Bucs is the #1, no true talent behind him, but he has Josh Freeman or some other QB throwing him the ball. Obvious downside...

Just took him late in my draft, hope he surprises some people this year!

Jermaine Gresham, The Bengals haven't had a TE to throw to since Tony McGee and he's looked impressive in the Pre-Season
