G. Gund was the owner when Boozer and Miller left.

Get your facts straight before you decide to come spewing shit.

Uh, no...

Dan Gilbert bought the team in 2005. Boozer left in 2004.

And after all of this, Gilbert and the Cavs agreed to a sign-and-trade for LeBron.

6 years, $110.1 million. Cavs get 4 draft picks (2 first round, 2 2nd round between 2012-2017) and have the right to swap Miami for their first round pick in 2012.

I agree, he is a top 3 talent. Behind Kobe who is #1 and D. Wade who is #2. Making Lebron the Robin. JMO

Majority of the Cavs fans LOVE him for doing this, its what we needed to hear. Instead of putting out some PC bullshit he let people know how he feels. Give Lebron a big ol 'Fuck you" the same way he did to the fans and city of Cleveland on natl tv.

Lebron did so much for the city of Cleveland and Gilbert and the fans are so ungrateful. He made Gilbert 100's of millions of dollars. He took Cleveland from the worst team in the NBA to the top of the league (regular season). I don't get why he decided to make the announcement the way he did, other than ego, but he did more for Cleveland in his 7 years there than any other athlete has in the same amount of time.

Do I think Lebron should have left? Probably not, but it's his decision. Do I think Lebron could have handled the announcement better? Fuck yes, he should have told the Cavs behind closed doors instead of announcing it to everyone on television. Do I think Lebron owes Cleveland or Gilbert anything? Absolutely not. Cleveland was lucky they were able to draft Lebron and keep him for 7 years.

If I were a free agent, I would not want to go to Cleveland. Look how the owner treats you if you decide to go to greener pastures. Had Gilbert not given LJ everything he wanted and let the GM run the show, maybe LJ would have had a better supporting cast that could help him to a title in Cleveland. Then we wouldn't be having this conversation; he would have stayed in Cleveland had he already had a title.

If Lebron would have committed to Cleveland even half of what he is to Miami now, players would have come play with him and they probably would have won a title. But he didn't, because his plan all along was to leave.
