Just wondering how many duals are you doing compared to bracket tournaments? Do you think bracket tournaments are becoming obsolete during the regular season???

Last season, Groveport Madison wrestled in 5 dual format tournaments. This year we are in only one (Panther Duals). We will only be in two bracket tournaments, Marion Harding as well as The Cruiser Invitational.

Because we could not find a bracket tournament outside of the holidays or Alliance we decided to run our own.

There is definatly a swing to Dual format as opposed to a bracket format.

I do believe the reasoning for this is simply how easy it is to run a tournament with a dual meet format.
