The way I look at it is that the fame and wealth factors add to attractiveness. Just the way the world works. People gravitate towards fame. As far as I'm concerned, the key to hooking-up success is to find hot chicks with friends they at least perceive to be a bit better on some level(s). That's a big reason why you see so many guys with a chick above their station. They found a hottie with an inferiority complex and made her feel special. Shit, my marriage wound up failing (because I was young and dumb enough to fucking get married), but when our relationship was successful, a big part of it was because she was high-maintenance and I fed her ego. Calm down before you have a seizure dude, we're talking about hot chicks--has nothing to do with earning potential or fame. Clearly that is a draw. But it doesn't make you better looking, it makes you more attractive sure. Attraction is about more than looks, obviously. But looks are looks--some are better looking than others regardless of whether they make 10 dollars a year and no one knows them or they make a million and everyone does.

Man, I didn't realize I was on the verge of epilepsy by getting baked and pontificating on why I think people put so much status on famous chicks who happen to be attractive (part of my theory on how the Erin Andrews' stalker was a member of the old Huddle, considering how it happened in Columbus and so many people there (and here) act like she is !!TEH GR8EST EVAR!!).
