What are you terrible at?
Using scissors …I’m a lefty and those effing green covered scissors in kindergarten…,got off to a bad start and I’m still awful with scissors.
To go along with that….I can’t wrap presents. It’s embarrassing.

Sleeping. I’ve been on night shift for over a decade. I work three nights a week and the nights I’m off are a shitshow. Usually go to bed around midnight, up at 4am unable to go back to sleep. I always have to nap in the afternoon to catch up. I’ll take vacation time in the summer and can usually get back on a normal schedule during it. I have no idea what it’s like to sleep through the night anymore. I’ve tried melatonin, Zzzquil, Benadryl, Tylenol PM, even been prescribed Trazadone. Nothing helps.

Now my night shift situation was a little different because I worked 5 nights a week, but I didnt change my sleep schedule on my regular days off. I only did so if vacation was a week or more.

That sounds bad
Basketball. I'm the air ball king. Not a redeeming quality about my "game." Poor dribbler, so so rebounder, terrible shooter, unless it's past half court. Truly the Clown (emphasizing "clown") Prince of Basketball.

If I didn’t have young kids I probably would do something similar. My youngest is five and getting a little better about me napping in the afternoon on weekends when they’re off school and my wife is at work.
When he was a baby my daughter was 4, that was brutal.
Anything to do with balance. I could be dead sober and still fail a field sobriety test.
Heating stuff up in microwave. Constantly overheat or under heat. I need to use the oven or frying pan.
Our new place has a microwave that is also nuclear. 10 seconds on power level 5 will destroy something like noodles or vegetables. It’s about the equivalent of 30 seconds on high from anything I’ve used before. We basically never use power level 10 unless trying to heat up liquid in a coffee mug or something.

You should really be reheating your pizza in a skillet...
putting pen, pencil. or paint to paper and I have absolutely no artistic skill. None. Stick figures only.
I couldn't throw a spiral if my life depended on it.

Sounds like the cuers (sp) they used at McDonalds back in the day

I would. But I’m a sicko. There is not leftover pizza if I order pizza.

friendfromlowry: has anyone ever suggested a sleep study for you?
Ironman92: they had those stupid green scissors way back when I was in grade school (early 60’s). I was able to teach myself how to cut right handed.
I’m terrible at doing laundry. I would stuff all I could into one load regardless of colors. However, by doing that, my wife banned me from the laundry room….. so that’s a win.

I can't anymore. When I was a kid I was "all-time QB" on the playground, as I had the best arm. As an adult, after years of lifting, wobblers and the ball drifts to the right. Can't throw it straight. I'm assuming arm angle issue.

Yeah I use my right hand when I have to use scissors for something

How about now?
Spreading pizza dough. My wife can take the ball of dough and cover the whole pan, round or rectangular and with the same ball of dough I can appropriately cover 3/5 of the pan. Then 1/5 of the dough is stuck to my hand. I get pissed. She says put a little flour on your hands and I just make a mess with a new form of paste.
But if she can do that part I can perfectly do the rest.
It can take me 10 minutes to button an oxford shirt (including collar and cuffs). My fine motor skills are atrocious.

I completely sympathize. Midnights for me, too, in ER.
Where I differ is that I *have* to keep my sleep hours all the time or I'm really struggling at work. Especially with all the online course work and webinars we have to keep up with!
My college coach would probably have said "football".
Of course my comeback for him would have been "recruiting".

Oh hell yes. I used to bomb those with my neighbor in the middle of the street. Could go almost half the block.
Update: Friend had a football on the beach this weekend. Still can't throw for shit. BUT...I can punt the fuck out of a football.
I have the worst handwriting in the world. I was blessed to be born as a millennial when computers started to become more commercially available and affordable. My handwriting was so bad that my 5th grade teacher made me do all of my assignments on the computer, which was not the norm in 1998.
Edit: There are still times now, where I write notes at work and when I look back I can’t even decipher it.
