Tartar sauce is gross. Never had a taste for it.
Come to think of it, I don't see it served at many restaurants here in Maryland or near the bay. It's all Old Bay, which is the shit.
Prefer tartar sauce with fried fish/ shrimp.

I hate tartar sauce. However, we ate at a place in New Buffalo, MI last summer that had some incredible (dill) tartar sauce.
There's a place in Portsmouth that puts it on their burgers. I like it.

I do prefer cocktail sauce on my seafood, as a rule, but I'll throw some tartar sauce on once in a while. No biggie.
