For me it has been switching from teflon to cast iron pans...after years of my gf destroying our teflon pans by using metal spatulas and silverware which scratches the teflon off and ruins the pans, we have been using the same three cast iron pans now for 5 years and we don't have to argue about her damaging the cookware and the investment has already paid of 6x easily. 

My chainsaw is invaluable to me, given my property.

You completely replaced teflon with cast iron? I use my cast iron a lot, but no sure I could get rid of nonstick. 

I'm considering trying stainless steel. That's pretty much the standard in the chef world, but every time I've used one, I wished I hadn't.

Why?  I have an all-clad stainless steel set and it's amazing. 

Cleaning the pan was a bitch and food was sticking. Maybe not enough lube?? 

We have all clad everything in our test kitchen. Baller stuff.

i have also looked into getting some stainless steel..i have a few pots, but no skillets

I had cataract surgery 2 years ago. Life changing.

Same time frame for me

Bought a Grasshopper 322D almost 15 years ago, what once took 6 hours now takes just over 2 hours

Bit off the beaten path but products that have changed my life:

Bicycle. Helped me rediscover my love for physical activity, and one that I can continue with and be competitive with as I age.

High Quality items: Early in my 20s, I discovered that I'd rather pay double for items that are well made and built to last. This includes clothes, furniture, cars, kitchen knives, etc.. I'd much rather have 1 really well made pair of jeans than 5 shitty pairs. Took me too long to realize this. Invest in quaility and it will pay for itself many times over.

Getting a zero turn mower. 

I also just recently got an applewatch series 4 and it really has made a difference in me increasing my activity and being more mindful of my health.  Looking at my resting heart rate and ect..made me more motivated to work out and hit daily goals. also since some of my friends also have it we challenge each other daily with steps and standing challenges ect...

Agree All-Chad are the best   however I do have two Iron Skillet that i use for different items i cook.

Durex condoms instead of Trojan.
