Does anybody here know the actual home address of their state or federal government officials.

does anybody know where Rob Portman's home addresses or Sherrod Brown's home address?

Why isn't this information of public knowledge, to the voters who they represent.

For what reason do you need to know their address? It feels like only bad things would happen with this information.

I voted for the current sheriff of my county...but I don’t know where he lives. Not greatly important to him doing his job

I see a screenshot of this thread one day splashed across the front page of the USA Today under the title “The Warning Signs Were All There”.

If my public official is really going to represent me then I should be positive that they live with in geographical area of my district.

If a politician has to live in fear of retaliation maybe that's a good thing. Bad choices and decision-making by a politician does not mean that their yard would be forked.

I know of a politician has four houses only one of them is in the district in which she /he represents the others are vacation homes. Does this politician really represent me and the district in which I live in or does he/ she  just represent the policies of party agenda. This particular politician has not lived in the house in my district for more than 4 months in the past 2 years. This politician would be better served the population of Naples Florida

Well, the two names you gave were U.S. Senators from Ohio, so if you're in the Cinci area and they both live in Cleveland, does that count?   :)

Suppose your next-door neighbor is your U.S. representative for your district, but they spend 8 months out of the year in DC.  Does that mean they would be better served being a representative for the DC district?

Understand what you're saying, though.

Seems like a creepy thing to claim to know about someone.
