I have a hard time seeing any significant differences that might simply be attributable to coming out of a pandemic.
Like I keep saying, the POTUS doesn't have nearly the power people believe he does. Another unintended consequence of constantly claiming Trump was an autocrat - surely a "benevolent king" like Biden should be getting a lot more done than he has?
POTUS can make a grand show of signing a toothless executive order, or make a grandstanding speech....but, for the most part, significant & lasting action must necessarily begin in Congress. And that explains why Dems are so concerned/upset with the filibuster. They can't rely on the SCOTUS to uphold illegal executive orders, and they can't get 5 Republican votes much less 10 in the Senate.
