Yeah, head scratcher, to me, signing his option. Would've let him walk and allocated the money elsewhere.

He seems healthy, it looks like they are just being overly cautious.  If he doesn't play, our outfield has to be one of the worst in baseball.

Are we doing predictions on this thread? New thread? Kluber vs Felix on Thursday (Hate, hate, hate a 10 PM opening day start time. Opening day is meant for cutting out of work early and grabbing a beer somewhere and watching the game).

I say start a new thread for the regular season.

Woke up this morning to see one of my Facebook buddies posted the video from Sunday Night Baseball where the Tribe came back from a 14-3 deficit with two outs in the 7th to beat the Mariners 15-14. Seems like yesterday and that shit still gives me goosebumps.

I always remember Vizquel's base loaded triple.

A younger guy that I work with was actually working for the Tribe (concessions) and was at the game. I told him, "you were forced to stay....if it would've been me, I would've likely been out of there long before the end, and had been kicking myself, to beat traffic."

Speaking of this...I used to have a website saved that was video game style of each at bat with Hammy and Hegan calling the comeback. You’d press next and it would advance the players like an old video game system, with the radio audio overlaid. But I can’t find it now on my new laptop.

I thought it was called the immaculate comeback or improbable comeback. Maybe someone else has it saved...

That's pretty cool, the video game style at bat's, not that you can't find the video.

I’m sure someone on here will find it and post for all of our enjoyment. It’s some of the best Hammy stuff out there, and Hegan was just the perfect sidekick. I miss him, though Rosey has grown on me.

Fuck yeah, found it. Kind of lol. This is a link to it, but they have it in video form. Same thing, but you dont hit continue each at bat, its just all done already. Still worth it. A few notes:

  1. Forgot that Lofton was thrown out at home down 5 in the 8th, on a ball that got away from catcher.
  2. The game went to the 11th, most assume Cabrera got the GW in the B9.
  3. I loved Marty Cordova.
