I don’t like it but I didn’t like the other choices either
The logo just looks lazy to me like they couldn't think of a new design and said "let's come up with another name that ends in 'dians' so we won't have much work to do on the new logo." I know this isn't the case but the logo looks the same.
^^^^ Maybe you are right that it IS so the logo doesn’t change that much.
Also, sorry about the redundant thread title. I thought we had to type “Poll”, but it automatically does it for you, and then you can’t edit a thread title once it’s posted.
The only thing I don’t like is the Script Guardians. The name was my second choice, so that’s good with me. The new C logo is fire. The G Fastball is whatever. Pretty lame — and hopefully they tweak it — but ultimately it isn’t that awful. They need to incorporate the statues into the logo more than just the wings from the petasos.
Mainly, I love that they incorporated something so ingrained to the city. It’s semi-alliterate. It has history. It’s unique.

I didn’t vote bc I’m not sure. The name doesn’t annoy me, it’s more the dumbass font and the colors. Don’t mind the C or G, and should be able to make cool logos with the actual guardians, but why not just blow up the colors and go new? I’m sure some marketing agency made millions to just do the same dumb shit.
Change it to GWARdiams and I'm on board.
Since I self identify as a guardian I am offended and they should change their name

Even looking at these side-by-side I can’t see a similarity.
The logo is just as bad as the Crews new logo. I think if the logo was better and the font was better the name itself would have been better received.
i don't hate the name. i thought spiders was better personally, but whatever.
the logo, attempted branding, etc. i do hate.
I assume people will still say "Go Tribe". Or is that going to cause the butt hurts too?
