That makes sense. I was using VPN on phone and basically doing that. I would logon to computer and say confirm location via phone. Use the phone (VPN to Toledo) to get Browns games. Then the app on the TV would pull from that location also. But, then VPN that got killed, I never investigated the spoofer and restarts. 

I don't think it works on PC, even if you can find a location spoofer Windows is too locked down to allow mock locations like that.

Spoofer is the way to go.  Might need to have television and YTTV off while you spoof location on phone.  I feel like they did shutdown one of the location spoofers I was using last year, but I found another that worked.

I thought when I heard DirecTV was losing it, it was that they were losing exclusive rights to it meaning Dish, Cable, Youtube, etc could all offer it.

I didn't realize until a few days ago that its now pretty much only YouTube.

Their exclusive rights contract ended. NFL put it Uk to highest bidder. Years long battle, and Google (YouTubeTV) win out over Apple and to a lesser extent Amazon (who was spending too much on TNF to realistically make a bid). 

If any of you have a college student in your life, you can get Sunday Ticket for $109 with their ID. 

Idk that I would ever invest in Sunday Ticket. Red Zone on a Sunday afternoon is GOAT for me. 

My wife has an ID because she works at a university. Wonder if that would be enough? How do you get the discount?

The tweet I saw said enrolled at an accredited college/university, and verified as a student by SheerID.

If I had the ability to watch my team (Browns), sure. But this was a no brainer. I havent been able to watch non-primetime Browns games since 2013. 

I do enjoy having a game I have invested in (gambling) on a dedicated screen also. RedZone is great, but annoys me when I want to focus more time a specific games and they just dont show them (until the score).

Just got Sunday Ticket + Red Zone for $119. Gladly will pay the $6.50 week for that.
