Yeah, hard to fault Lebron here. Year 17 or whatever it is, probably one of his last shots at winning a title as there’s no guarantee AD is back next season. But he’s willing to give it up for what he believes in.

If he doesn't want to play basketball any longer, he can retire at the end of season. To walk out after signing a contract is wrong. Isn't this same guy who said that China is good with human rights?
posted by friendfromlowryUpdate: probably not.Could the Miami Heat win the title? They might be the best three point shooting team there.
Steven A. Smith is reporting that LeBron is upset with the Bucks because they didn't consult him before boycotting their game.

Yep, apparently Uigher and HK rights are not relevant

Lol fuck off, dude. What are you doing for China? For the US?
Should we start listing Lebron's off the court accomplishments? Kevin Love's? Dozens of other NBA, MLB, NFL players?
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you own clothing and electronics and other goods made in China. There's a strong chance you're posting from one. So do you actually care about China? I'm guessing you don't. Your China talk seems super disingenuous.
Unlike most people who do absolutely nothing to help people (i.e. people who march to take a selfie and post on Instagram or just virtue signal on social media in general), LeBron has done a lot to help many people. I will never hate on that. He is living proof the individual can do more to help people than the Government ever will. The amount of kids he is sending to college is incredible. You can sports hate him and completely disagree with most of what he says, but you can't deny as a person he has put his money and actions where his mouth is.
The NBA in general though, have proven they are full of shit and hypocritical. If you're going to go all in being being righteous about human rights, but then try to silence a GM and fans regarding China, you are 100% full of shit. The difference between the two is one will affect their bottom line and the other will not. Let's not get it mixed up. The irony is, China hates black people. They turn them down at businesses all the time simply for being black. Money talks, and thus why China has a large say in what the NBA does, and why Silver will listen to them.

LOL
The NBA should’ve taken a harder stance on China, but criticizing a protest because they didn’t do enough during another protest is pretty dumb.
They are getting shit done in a big way for what they believe right now.
Meniscus tear for the Zinger
Mavs suck outside of Doncic and Porzingis
Jamal Murray and Donovan Mitchell are incredible
Wow, Steve Nash to become head coach of Brooklyn Nets. Didn’t see that coming.
SAS screaming white privilege because Nash was hired over Lue, Mark Jackson, etc.
Doesn’t Durant and Nash have a pretty close relationship? Nash has worked with him before when he was on the Warriors. Durant and Kyrie probably wanted Nash over everyone else. That’s really all it comes down to. If they wanted Lue do you think the Nets were going to say “nope sorry we’re hiring Nash lmao fuck off guys”
I thought Philly wanted Lue anyway.

In that same rant he said no black man would be hired as HC without any coaching experience.
I guess Jason Kidd and Derek Fisher don’t count? Also, correct me if I am wrong, but didn’t Mark Jackson get hired as HC without any prior experience? I also recall the Cavs trying time hire Chauncey Billups as president without any experience. Billups turned down the job.
In other words, SAS is full of shit per usual.

Update: probably not.
Update: this was premature (although I don’t think the Heat will win the title).
Heat onto ECF
I wouldn’t pick them to beat Clippers but I think they definitely can get to finals.
Used to really like Westbrook but it’s been rough going for him. Gets into confrontation with fans, shoots 4-13 in an elimination game and oh yeah is making $43 million next year.
Lol clippers. Blow a 3-1 series lead. Had double digit leads in games, 5, 6, and 7 and lost them all. Kawhi and PG played horrible tonight.
I won’t miss Pat Bev acting like an ass all the time and Morris picking fights with everyone.
