Rays…see ya and your unsupportive fans. The Royals lost over 100 games but has more people in attendance their final game than Rays did in playoff opener. Rangers won easy 2-0

Twins a closer series but still a sweep. Good for them.

Dbacks are 6 outs away from knocking off the Brewers

Phillies 4 innings from sweeping Marlins

Diamondbacks with a decent upset at Milwaukee

Good for them. Hope their catcher is ok. They are by far the worst roster remaining

Dodgers vs Diamondbacks….Dbacks a huge underdog

Astros vs Twins…..Astros decided favorites

Orioles vs Rangers…..very interesting.

Between this utterly stupid move by their manager, because of analytic stuff or just wanting to show off that 4D chess strategy, and Vlad's utterly stupid move in getting picked off second base with two on, two out and the one guy who'd been hitting in the series (Bichette) at the plate, it's probably for the best the Twins won. If only because, as a neutral watcher, I prefer to see games get decided by things like talent and clutch performances and not because one team deciding to bunch a lot of fuck-ups together in a short amount of time.

EDIT: Too bad none of the series could go three games. The NFL game tonight is Chicago and Washington. Really could have used a strong alternative to that sort of potential atrocity. About a 5000% better chance watching that game will turn me into a zombie than yesterday's emergency alert test on the phone.

I see this as a chance to get to bed at a better time

That one was pure awesome. The later game was pretty good, too. Mainly in the "can Arizona hold on?" way, as the Dodgers never were able to come through with the hit they needed to really put them on their heels, but were in the position to do so a couple times. I guess you could say it was the perfect "cool down" game after the Philly-Atlanta one where you follow up pure excitement with a game that isn't as good, but is good enough to not feel like a letdown.

The Orioles didn’t get swept all season.

So, does Houston win tonight, or do we get a crazy series where the road team wins every game?

I’m rooting Rangers but Houston will jump on Scherzer soon and Altuve is clutch AF

Really looking like road could sweep. Sure there's time and 8-2 isn't impossible to overcome, but if Adolis stays hot, Texas might put another 8 on the board tonight.
