OK, First pitch at 9:40. Let me know what time the final pitch is.
bump
Zunino is a horrendous catcher. But if he keeps hitting at a decent clip, I won’t be calling for Naylor.
12:21, 2 hours 41 minutes. 4-3 loser.
Tribe is on pace to go 108-54. Karinchak is on pace to go 0-54.
Whats the deal with Karinchak? Too early to freak out? Has given up 4 ER already, gave up 9 ER all last year.

Must have signed a big contract.

He did only pitch like 1/2 of a season though. These new rules are not great for him, though I do not think yesterday had anything to do with it. But game 1 was a trainwreck for him mentally.
Blew a big lead today but came back to win it in the 10th.
Got lucky. Will have to play better. Especially against good teams. With that said, I’ll take the 5-2 start.
I was prepping myself to say that 4-3 off a season opening road trip was really good, so I am very happy with this!
On a side note, I wanted to share some info on Athletic attendance that I heard from Hammy early in the game.
The 3 game series attendance was a little over 11,000.
Then, he talked about the A’s three straight World Series wins from 1972, 1973 and 1974 in which only one of those years, attendance was slightly over a million.
He then said that the Athletics franchise has the third most World Series titles with 9…….5 when they were in Philadelphia. The only teams with more titles are the Yankees and Cardinals.
Anyhow, Go Tribe……er…Guards….
When I say Guards, I think of The Mean Machine! 😁
Guardians WIN!!
Party at Sal Bando's

Hammy also said that the prior night's attendance was bested by 11 Triple A games. LOL
