Reds call up a AAA pitcher with an ERA nearly 10 and he’s the wildest fastball thrower I’ve ever seen….INSANE. Nearly killed a guy trying to sacrifice bunt….but could throw his 88 mph slider near the plate and somehow got the extra inning save. I’ve never seen anything similar.

Was the Reds' pen tired? Because I saw that dude's stats when he came in and was wondering how a guy with numbers like that even got called up, let alone got called on to pitch a high-leverage situation like that. Or why Farmer was going two innings, for that matter. Worked out for them, but it definitely seemed to be a weird decision.

Diaz definitely could’ve pitched but GM’s won’t allow such things in June.

The dudes fastball was unusable. No one knew where it was going. Worst control of a fastball I’ve ever seen, by a lot. Sorry Mitch Williams and even playoff Rick Ankiel.

Ironman have you noticed the goof right behind home plate in the Sam Hubbard (#94 Bengals) jersey tonight. He was in the same seat last night, also wearing that jersey.

Just meant I asked if you (the only person I knew was watching the game) noticed him and turns out you went to high school with him. Regardless, I’ve enjoyed his energy. Wonder if he’ll be there tomorrow, wearing the Hubbard jersey, and they’ll win 5-4.

Typically after the NBA finals end I go on a sports hiatus til the first game of college football. But I’ll keep watching the Reds for the time being.

Reds played their bottom 2 guys on the roster and 2 other subs….those guys made 4 errors and Reds still found a way to win.

Barraro should never play center field ever again.

At least on the MLB level.

Rough night for him…robbed of 3 hits and had 3 chances to make very good plays and botched them all, 2 badly.

It’s a complete opposite team than of the last 20 years….they are athletic, take the extra base, push the issue on the bases, most players can effectively play multiple positions….bullpen has guys in roles….but most importantly to me, not one guy is up there trying to hit home runs. Just last year Kyle Farmer was arguably the Reds best player on the season….now he is gone and if you loved Farmer then you have a Kevin Newman who is solid AF to root for….but India, Friedl, Steer, McLain, Fraley, De La Cruz, Greene, Diaz are all better and Stephenson/Senzel are showing signs…Gibaut, Sims, Farmer have all been good. Fairchild and the backup catches have perfectly played their role.
