Update: fuck this snow. Jesus
My kids already didn’t have school tomorrow because of a teacher work day. Tuesday is their first day back from winter break and I already expect it to be closed. They needed to be back in school a week ago.

My school is all rural and mostly township roads….highly doubtful we head back before Wed
Odd the ref messed up the kicker’s rhythm before that miss kick
Viking coach not a good feel in this game snd the decisions
I’ve spent too much time online today reading toxic cesspools of Twitter, Reddit, etc. A lot of mad people. I should stop.
“It’s 4th and 92 from their own 6 yard line and…..Dan Campbell is keeping the offense on the field.”
-Tirico, probably.
Will Vikings be favored next week?

It’s so damn weird the Falcons and Rams flipped seedings. I wouldn’t bet a penny on Rams Vs Vikings

posted by Ironman92Huge moment in Bucs/Saints game and refs have it as 1st and goal at the 24 and Dean Blandino is with the announcing crew and he can’t believe none of the 6 refs know it should be 1st and 10 based on what happened.
That was amazing how long it took them to get that simple correction. Therre must have been one official lobbying hard for the way they had it set up at 1st and goal after administering the 15 yd penalty, which I think is the way it should be,and used to be when I was in high school 55 years ago. Penalties should be punitive, and the most punitive thing to an offense is to get behind the chains, but with the modern rule it doesn't hurt the offense at all as far as how they are with the chains if it happens after a play on which they got a first down. In fact the rule could even benefit the offense that is trying to run out the clock.
Say a team has the ball 1st and 10 on the 25 yd line with a one point lead with 3 minutes left, and they run it to the 9 yd line for first and goal and the defense still has 3 time outs. A smart QB might run up acting like one of the defenders took a cheap shot at his running back and yell and shove the tackler and try to get it back to 1st and 10 back at the 24 yd line to get more distance to run the clock out, and instruct his ball carriers to not go more than 9 yds before going down on a first down play. I'm still hoping that some day in a similar situation an offensive team will challenge that their last play was short of the line to gain for a first down!
Mayo fired after 1 season.
Pederson fired.
Anarumo fired.
Vrabel to the Pats all but a lock.

Give Mayo credit. Probably saw the writing on the wall and said, "FUCK IT!", went out and won and screwed the Pats out of the top pick.

Many upset the Chiefs didn’t try against a decent Broncos team they needed a near miracle to beat the first time….not a person cares the Bills lost to the worst team in football.

I saw A LOT of smug “huh guess the chiefs were scared of the bengals in the playoffs so they lost” narrative.
The chiefs did what was best for them and didn’t give a shit who it helped or harmed. Bengals probably weren’t beating the bills anyways.
I’m glad the bengals didn’t let the last 5-6 games fool them and still fired people. Their offensive line coach sucked ass. Keep drafting and signing guys every year and still bottom of the league.

I'd guess that a big part of the "many upset" about the Chiefs might involve you being in a more Bengals Country sort of place because I can't imagine anyone other than Bengals fans giving a fuck. Especially since Miami couldn't beat the LOLJets to also have a reason to be pissed.
And if they're mad, maybe they should put their energies into being mad about things like their team starting out 4-8 while losing seemingly every close game they had and needing a five-game win streak just to have any sort of chance. Hell, just fucking beat that shitty New England team and they're in.
I mean, I do give Cincy credit for talking a big game the entire year. ESPN article on Sunday morning had a headline to the effect of Cincy saying everyone else hopes they don't get in. After barely holding on to win by two against a team that played like they were already checked out to the degree they weren't even realizing how the Bengals kept fucking up to keep them in the game. Yeah, after watching that shitshow, I was thinking the Steelers are dead meat in the playoffs and that, if that's what Cincy has to offer, they'd get waxed in Buffalo by 20+. Definitely not that anyone should be hoping/fearing anything about either of those two teams (other than hoping they get Pittsburgh in the first round).

My FB was flooded with the “Chiefs are afraid of the Bengals”
Do back to back SB champs think that way? The Bills already smacked them up…,why wouldn’t they want the Bengals to knock them off?
They’d rather the Broncos get in? Maybe but division rivals don’t typically work that way. Chiefs needed the miracle of all miracles to beat the Broncos the first time.
Andy Reid wants his team and must have weapons healthy….can you fathom him being worried about a potential 2nd round matchup versus a team that was 1-7 vs playoff teams?
Maybe the Bengals would’ve pounced Buffalo in freezing Buffalo and maybe they knock off Mahomes in KC….but Andy Reid wasn’t worried about it.
