You know the drill, give us your best, most outrageous NFL predictions for this season here.

Mine: Jets win the 'ship. I get a tattoo of Aaron Rodgers on my butt.

Last year I predicted the Jags would win the AFC South

This year my big prediction is Detroit finally makes the big leap and goes to the Super Bowl.

My track record here is impeccable. Bet the opposite of what I say.

AFC East:

Bills - 10-7 still the cream of this crop. Should make a run in the playoffs, but injuries are going to tell the story here as always.

Jets - 9-8 win a tiebreaker, struggle out of the gate then get it rolling once Hall comes back and they get a run game to take the edge off of pass rushers barreling through the Oline. Defense is going to be elite

Dolphins - 9-8 defense is going to be the big variable here. the offense, if tua is healthy, we know what it looks like. the defense under fangio will be better, but largely we are running with the same horses as last year

Patriots - 7-10 more of a testament to their division than anything. better team than this record

AFC North:

Bengals - 12-5 win the division, lose in the divisional round. They'll miss Perine more than people know and Bates more than people think

Browns - 9-8 depth chart is compelling, but i am not a believer in stefanski to get it done

Ravens - 9-8 Lamar still needs help with a running attack defense is expensive, but i don't think they're good

Steelers - 8-9 holes everywhere, past their prime players eating up cap space. pickett isn't what they are trying to make us think he is.

AFC South:

Jaguars - 11-6 they run away with a bad division

Texans - 4-13 rookie QB on a bad team with a decent defense

Colts - 3-14 rookie QB on a bad team with a bad defense

Titans - 3-14 clearly they plan on beginning the rebuild after this year

AFC West:

Chiefs - 13-4 - just way better than the rest of us, i think they get better this year

Broncos - 10-7 really no clue how this will go. payton is a winner, but russell could truly be as bad as he looked last year

Chargers - 6-11  Defense is injury prone everywhere, still don't have a legit WR threat and it'll show

Raiders - 3-14 lost too much of the offense to be good

NFC East:

Eagles - 13-4 good team, got better but also older at key positions

Giants - 8-9 not a great team, but well coached

Cowboys - 8-9 too much turmoil internally

Commanders - 5-12 Bad team, i think bienemy gets exposed as a bad coach

NFC North:

Lions - 11-6  finally the team to beat. not a great team but good in a bad division

Vikings - 10-7 good team, they are going to miss the running game and pass catching of DC,. they are crazy for letting their DLine go, but overall a good team

Packers - 3-14 new QB ain't going to cover up for how bad of a coach they have

Bears - 2-15 bad team didn't do enough to help the QB

NFC South:

Buccaneers - 9-8 don't really trust the coach, but roster isn't bad. they have to get baker or trask to really perform

Panthers - 7-10 again, if the coach wasn't pederson, i'd really like this team i think they are really good but pederson got steamrolled in indianapolis.

Saints - 7-10 don't trust the qb, they got older everywhere and bringing back headcases like thomas aren't going to improve things

Falcons - 4-13 - these guys need a QB and more of a direction on defense

NFC West:

49er's: 12-5 great team, well built, all depends on purdy's arm.

Seahawks: 9-8 good team, need a QB but won't get one without a huge trade in the draft. coach is great

Rams: 5-12 nothing compelling about this team other than the coach, QB (who's on the downslope and could be seriously injured) and Donald who doesn't act tlike he's committed to the game

Cardinals: 1-16 clearly the worst team in the league, the blow up and rebuild is coming but might be after this owners is shamed out of the league

Browns defense will be top 5 in sacks with Garrett winning the DPOY (not really a bold prediction).

EDIT: And Garrett will break the single season sack record.

if you think i'm going to go through each teams schedule and pick each game you're crazy, i'm just telling you where i feel like they are. i know the math isn't going to add up. but i feel like there are like 5 really awful teams, 3 really clearly good teams and the rest of them right now are average. i was basically trying to give like my over/under for wins. most teams if i'm wrong i think i'm wrong on the low side of wins. like the browns roster should win like 12 games, but i don't like there coach. the steelers, titans and patriots have amazing coaches and bad rosters. miami could win 13 games if tua is healthy AND the defense is dramatically better than it was last year. i don't think both will happen so they'll languish as an average team that will be in QB limbo at draft time for the 18th time since marino retired.

Browns lose on a buzzer-beating FG in the second round of the playoffs.

League-wide arrests during regular season total 15.

I would never expect that but reading through it seemed like way too many really bad teams with not as many really good to offset….so I quickly math’d it (might be off a touch)

Garrett Wilson could put up crazy numbers.

I’ll guess conservatively and say 102 rec, 1420 yards, 10 tds.

Favre on one cheek, Rodgers on the other. People will think he's a Green Bay super-fan, he'll say it's for the Jets and then they'll buy him pity drinks.

#7 seed Browns go into NY to face the #2 seed Jets where an old friend of Aaron Rodgers, Mason Crosby, makes the GW field goal for the Browns.
