Brady unretired.

Has to be one of ESPN's most epic failures in its history. They broke the story, which was then denied by TB and Brady, but then they continued to stand by it and had it streaming on their ticker.
Not that there's a whole lot of "journalism" taking place in sports reporting. But I thought it was funny.
Also bummed because I was hoping Roethlisberger might give it a go with his old buddies Arians and Leftwich.

What?? They were right? What are you possibly talking about?

Semantics. Never turned in his papers and - newsflash - is not retired.
They reported the story with a certainty that was initially denied, and a certainly Brady himself clearly did not possess.

Brady’s is a big boy. Schefter is a d-bag who peddles to the league. But he was right. Brady intended to retire and he did publicly. That’s what he reported on.
If he was wrong, Brady didn’t have to go thru that Instagram post. He had that thought out, written, and planned. Schefter was right.
Legal tampering period starts tomorrow at noon. Should be hearing about some early commitments throughout the day. Have heard several rumblings of Von Miller signing with the Browns.
Pittsburgh will sign Mitch Trubisky to be their starting QB. Two year deal.
Washington Pro-Bowl guard Brandon Scherff intends to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars, per source.

Bengals aren't waiting on OL.
Tom Brady’s loss will be Joe Burrow’s gain: Bucs’ free-agent guard Alex Cappa intends to sign a four-year, $40 million deal with the Bengals after free agency opens, per league sources.

The #Bengals are signing OL Ted Karras to a 3-year, $18M deal, source said.

Sounds like both the Jets and Browns may have made significant offers to the Texans for Watson. The Texans didn't say no.....Watson did (supposedly).
I'm calling BS on this offer from the Jets.
"Supposedly" the #Jets offered 3 1st & 1-2 2nds & Zach Wilson for Watson #Browns offered

(2) 1s
(1) 5rd
Kareem Hunt
Greg Newsome
Baker Mayfield.
The #Texans said "NO".
The Jets could've drafted Watson (or Mahomes) but took Jamal Adams instead because Mike Maccagnan is the dumbest human that has ever walked this planet.
Jets get Laken Tomlinson. The OL just got a huge boost and it wasn't too bad to begin with.
Christian Kirk to the Jags.

Meh 🤷🏻♂️
Positives:
1. I’d rather him give it a go than Mason Rudolph
2. He’s going to want to prove himself and a last chance scenario
Negatives:
1. Our receivers can’t get open
2. Line sucks
3. Wondering if peak Trubisky is top 20? The Trubisky I expect maybe not top 30

It is bullshit. Heard this after my post. There's a good chance the Browns will be meeting with Watson.

I wouldn't sleep on him. He has a better than .500 record with a much worse supporting cast in Chicago.
$21m a year for Christian Kirk? That seems...excessive. And resets the WR market at a much higher number.
Yeah, I'm down with Trubisky. Be a better option than what they currently have or anything they'd get from the draft without paying through the nose to move up (and in the short term, even then).
