Amazon has unlimited funds though, while the networks decidedly do not.
posted by gutThat seems really high. Just a few years ago, Romo got $180M over 10 years, but many consider that an anomaly. Collinsworth and Aikman are looking for new deals, but currently make about $9-$10M per year.
Those are all established, proven guys. Can't imagine McVay getting $20M out of the gate.
Offer was supposedly 5 years, $100m for McVay. Aikman's getting 18.5/yr to move.
I actually just snorted Hopslam through my nose
It was worth it
Georgia DT Jordan Davis ran a 4.78 forty at the Combine.
He weighs 341 lbs.
Was watching my cousins husband (Dom Robinson) last night at the combine. Did pretty good I thought. He’s only played the position a year (switched from WR to DE in college). Great guy and always been a freak athlete. Hope he catches on somewhere.
Haven’t seen much of Cole Kelley but he’s got an arm.
Calvin Ridley suspended for 2022 season for betting on games. Yikes.
Ridley tweeted he does not have a gambling problem. Idk, what about doing it when it risks your career? Is it still not a problem?
I assume - but am not sure - when suspended you’re not paid? So he just cost himself $11 million.

Claims to have only gambled $1500

He can die on that hill I guess. Amount is irrelevant when the punishment regardless is being suspended for an entire season (and maybe more)
Phew....several rumors out there that the Browns were going to make a play for Ridley via trade.
Woah, huge trade with Broncos getting Russell Wilson.

Bet that wasn't cheap.

Multiple 1st's, possible other picks and players (including Drew Lock).
Per Glazer, the trade is for three players (one being Drew Lock) and two first rounders and two second rounders and a fifth for Russell Wilson and a fourth.
Only a Super Bowl win makes this trade a possible win for Denver. Otherwise it's a disaster.
Looks like Noah Fant and Shelby Harris are the two other players. Pretty steep.
Cool. Denver instantly becomes better and more watchable. I hope Jevonte Williams wasn’t included in the trade.
And the Mason Rudolph era begins in Pitts. 🤢

Just getting out of that division will be Murderers Row with Mahomes, Herbert and Carr (to a lesser extent). As a Browns fan (not happy), with this trade, the AFC North playoff rep is probably going to be the division winner and that might be it.

Maybe, but I think it depends on whether the 7th seed is permanent or not (I assume it will be).
The flipside of your argument is those AFCW teams are going to pin a few extra losses on each other.
I think PIT is going to be a doormat for at least a few years. CLE, with Mayfield, is mediocre and a sub-500 team without him. CIN is for real, and BAL will be in the hunt.
But, geez, the AFC....and just magine if JAX gets a team around Lawrence!
