Starting a new thread for draft discussion since it's good for search engines.

What would be your ideal (but realistic) day one for your team assuming they have picks?

I wouldn't be upset if the Jets took either with 35 or 38.

In all honesty, just hoping Baker is traded during the draft or shortly after.

This. Just want to move on from this drama fest. I think they would've already moved him if he (Mayfield) could've just kept his mouth shut.

Which is why if one of them falls to that area I expect the Browns to try to move up a little. Not into the late first but early second.

Miami is picking at 102. so they'll be spectating thursday and most of friday. but my ultimate ask from this draft is to go after LB and OL depth that people keep telling me this draft is littered with. ideally jurgens, fortner or tindall at 102. then maybe ruckert or another playmaker at 125. then the last few picks just go after value.

Hoping against hope PIT doesn't take a QB in R1, much less trade up for one of these stiffs.  At least after the draft the only QB rumor left to link PIT to will be....a trade for Mayfield.

I'm on the Jordan Davis bandwagon for PIT.  But I think he's gone before #20.

Jordan Davis has Baltimore written all over him. Haloti Ngata 2.0

That's where a lot of mocks have him.  But that could be a bit high for a guy many don't feel is an every down player.  Those people are dumb.

On the other hand, PIT has in recent years been 60% nickle base (I think).  Money not much of an issue now that Ben is retired, but a lot of other questions with Tuitt (28, final year of his contract).  Cam probably has 2+ great years left.  So they could talk themselves into Jordan Davis being somewhat of a luxury pick they can't afford in R1.

But boy oh boy oh boy would it be fun to see Cam-Jordan-Tuitt with Watt and Highsmith on the edges.  That would be unreal.

Hoping the Bengals can continue to add to offensive line or find some help in secondary of defensive line. Shouldn’t be hard to screw up.

Kinda hoping the rumors of a #4 for #16 and #19 trade with the Saints comes true.

That would be weird because when a team moves up that far it's usually for a QB. In the Saints case, it would probably be for an offensive tackle.

Not sure which is dumber, that the NFL draft is an actual multi-day event, or that I'm watching pre-draft coverage.

I mean, I’ve invested a stupid amount of time into draft rumors, speculation, and general discussion. Yeah, it’s probably stupid because but it’s entertainment.
