2021 Reds Thread

In "this is fucking stupid, but it's MLB, so, yeah" news, the Nick C. suspension was upheld. Apparently annoying Yadi and making him start a benches-clearing incident is about as serious a crime as you can commit under Manfred's watch — at least more deserving of punishment than, you know, cheating to win in the postseason or minor-league stuff like that.

The Reds loss could not have been more minor league

I seriously think the reds are 2-9 when I’ve been able to watch.

That pitcher in the 9th couldn’t throw 2 strikes in 6 pitches...proved it to every hitter. Bases loaded and Castellanos was aggressive and swung at 2 pitches out of the zone....would’ve tied the game. Suarez wailed at 2 pitches that weren’t close then took strike 3 down the middle.

Atrocious at bats by the 2 guys supposed to get it done. Awful

Hopefully Votto can chase down Cal

Man...the Reds blow.

Only saving grace is that Votto ranks top 10 in MLB in at bats

Taking the first two in LA is huge. Cincy typically plays like shit on the west coast. 

We just bought tickets for the game on June 8th, 2nd row just behind 1st base. Can't wait to catch my first game in almost 2 years.

Liking those Reds jerseys today.

Crazy they got out of it....Arenado nearly burnt them twice...lucky it was a ground rule double

Going to the game tonight, hoping the weather holds out. It was looking like a washout as of last night, but it might stay dry long enough to get the game in.

I figure with Joey back and in the meat of the order (because feelings matter) the Reds will get back to losing 

Weather is nice. 

One thing that is pissing me off. The Reds do not put the player RBI total anywhere on any of the screens in the park. They show AB, H, 2B in multiple locations. RBI is nowhere to be found and it’s annoying.

The game was a total bore, but it was great being at the ballpark with other people.
