Not sure how I doubled the thread. I like to see OSU and UM both at top of their game. Nothing beats that 2006 matchup. Beating a 3-9 UM team 42-7 is boring as a fan.

This is blasphemous--I don't gaf whether they're 0-10 or 10-0, it's NEVER boring watching the Buckeyes beat the ever living snot out of ttun...EVER!!!

wish I could 'double rep' this
Sorry, but I love exciting games when everything is on the line. You really going to say you got as much joy out of 2008 win vs 2002, 2006, or 2016???

true but noon kickoffs suck when the game is literally over at 12:30.

In my experience, you cannot convince knuckleheads of this. If Michigan had been a mediocre program since the beginning of college football, they wouldn't be our rival. You may as well call Indiana your rival if that were the case. A good rival is a formidable foe. That's what makes the win sweetest. If you enjoy just beating up on weak programs, your big "rival" comes to town this weekend.
I like how this thread got derailed by OSU-UM
I've been to both, games that matters, 05 and 06, and ones that don't 2010. I had a much better time at 05 and 06 than 10. I prefer when something is on the line. That said, it still feels good to beat those SOBs from up north.
Back to the thread's subject.
I'll be at Fedex field on Sat to see the Terps v. Texas.
Given the whole MD mess it will be interesting to see how the team responds. The Terps have offensive weapons, I'm just not sure how the team will react given everything this offseason. Also, Texas has a ton of hype as usual.
I also hope Tua starts for Bama. If he does and runs that offense like he did in the Title game, this may be the only Bama team I actually enjoy watching.

If my aunt had a dick, she'd be my uncle...they ARE our rival, so that's a moot point. I don't care how good they are or what's at stake--I want to kick the shit out of them every single year. Period.

Not me, I'm team Hurts---Tua could be what Cardale was in '15, after he led the Bucks to a NC and was christened the Second Coming.
Yeah, but it is still more fun to watch Tua than Hurts.
Bama's offense in the title game was like watching Oregon from a few years ago. Fast and a lot of throws. Give me that to watch over the typical grind it out Bama team.

I also want to beat them every year. my point was just that some of the games are more boring than others. 2002, 2006, 2005, 2016 were more exciting/less boring than 2008 and some others. A 42-7 game is boring, it just is - doesn't mean I don't enjoy the win. I prefer the exciting ones which usually means you are battling for conference title between two highly ranked teams, resulting in UM being a pretty good team.
I think Texas kills Maryland this weekend. Looking forward to watching Joe Burrow against Miami on Sunday as well.

Poor choice of words describing what Texas will do to Maryland

...says the guy who thinks a drunken twitter rant by a guy who should stfu and be ‘invisible’ is a good thing.
Purdue/NW has been good. Have a weird feeling Purdue is going to come back and win this.
What the hell was that Purdue player thinking. Can’t believe players still do stupid shit like that.
I thought that was a terrible call. It’s football..
Michigan State looks like trash.
